Hometown Letters is a paid mail subscription. We collect the minimum we need to take payment, print a letter, and mail it to a US address.
Writers only see a member's first name, town, and interests. They never see a street address. Our mail desk addresses every envelope from a separate list. We never sell, rent, or share addresses.
We also store buyer email and name, gift notes, UTM attribution from the link you arrived on, and Stripe customer and subscription IDs. If you check the box on a self-purchase tied to a partner newsletter, we store the result of that email opt-in.
We do not share gift-recipient addresses with Newsletter Factory. We do not send member tags or member events. Gift buyers and gift recipients are never added to a partner email list from the gift flow.
Card data stays with Stripe. If you subscribe for yourself from a partner page and leave the newsletter box checked, we send only your email to Newsletter Factory. Their privacy policy then applies to that list.
